Okay. I have uploaded the Kit twice to my 4shared and I have no idea what is going on with it. I have emailed them telling them that my links were acting cooky. Well not in those words lol! but I hope to get a response and my links start working!!!!! What a crazy thing.

This tutorial was made using basic knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

I am using Version 9 but any version will do. Let's get started.

Supplies

Tube of Choice

Okay let's begin. Open up your PSP to a blank workspace. I use 550x550 as my standard. I don't really like to create too big of tags. So use whatever size may work for you. Open up your download of the Little Spring kit and Open your Large frame LS_Frame01. If this is too large for your size tag resize it to your liking. Copy and Paste your Frame to your blank workspace. Then Image>Rotate>Free Rotate> Direction Right 90Degrees. Go to your paper elements and select your paper of choice. Using your Magic Wand Tool, Select the inside of your frame. Copy and Paste your paper as a new layer. Selections>Invert>Delete. Selections None. Move your Paper Layer below your Frame layer. Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.

Go back to your elements and now select your LS_Frame02. Resize this frame again to your liking and place the frame to the top right hand corner of your Merged Frame layer. Using your Magic Wand Tool, Select the inside of your Frames. Select them all to use the same papers or One at a time to change the paper in each square. Selections>Modify>Expand. Increase this number so that your Marching Ants expands along the frame not inside. Go to your Paper elements and select your paper or papers of choice. Selections>Invert>Delete. Selections>None. Move your Papers below your frame.

Using your want one last time Select inside one of your frames. Selections>Modify>Expand. You can used the same preset Expand as previous. Go to your tube and Copy and Paste above your Marching Ants. With your tube layer selected. Selections>Invert>Delete.

Move this tube layer below your Frame. Double Click on the Layer in your Layer Palette. Blend Mode: Select_Luminance Legacy. Click OK. Lower your Opacity to 80%. If you want to add a text box to your tag. This is your time to do so. Open up the Pink or either the Green lined text box and move it to the top left hand side of your tag below your frame and papers. Add a small dropshadow to this layer.

Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.

Go back to your Elements and open your Flower and your Green of your Choice. Resize your Flower and your Green to your liking. I made some smaller than the other one. Add a small dropshadow to both of them. Copy and Paste your Green onto your Merged Frame. Duplicate the original and Move your copies around to create more flowers. Go to your Flower and follow the same steps. Placing your Flowers slightly to the side of your Green so that it appears as if your flower has leaves. Do this to all of your Green to create your beautiful flowers.

Open your tube again.

Resize your tube to your liking. Copy and Paste your Tube in the center of your tag. Rearrange your flowers if your need to so that you aren't completely covering them with your tube. Once you are finished and completely satisfied with the outlook of your tube add a small dropshadow.

Open up your doodles which is totally optional and place these below the tag. Duplicate these so that you can get different effects of the doodle and not overshadow the tag.

For the last time.

Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.

Add your copyright information and your License number.

And BAM!!!!! we are done.

YAY!!!!! Crop away any excess workspace you may have left. Making sure not to take a piece of the doodle or the frame while you do this.

Save your tag as a .pspimage for later distribution.

Hello Everyone!!!!

I have been so busy. Real life is just too much right now. Well not actually too much but it's really demanding my attention. I have gotten over the obstacle with the teeth. His teeth are mainly in they just have to grow out. He's not as pesky and whiney now. That is just a blessing!!!!! I hope that I can catch up on the sleep that I didn't get to enjoy while he was a mess. I am now trying to patiently await the arrival of my nephew. He's due any day now and I am so excited. This will be my first time being an auntie and I am just so EXCITED!!!!!! I have been helping my younger sister prepare. YAY! me. More housework and less sleep still. lol! I am almost back.

Hello everyone.
I hope everyone wasn't worried about me. lol. I had to take a little break from the computer world to nurse my son back to health. He's getting those molars his final teeth and its had him feverish. I did take him to the drs to be sure that it wasn't a ear infection. He's dull in one ear and fine in the other. He has a script for amoxicillin. I know I so didn't spell that right. lol! OOps!!! I will be back with the updated tuts and a share. I have to get the mojo. So this is just a brief update on me. See ya soon!!!!! Kay

:: A Blissful Spring ::

A Blissful Spring

To complete this tutorial you must have working knowledge of PaintShop Pro. I used version 9 but any version is okay. I am creating with the beautiful works of Barbara Jensen. You can pick up this Spring Pack at her website HERE. Scrapkit I used is FTU-Blissfull Colors made by Doris over at ScrapsDimensions. You can pick it up HERE. Template used is one of my own. You can pick that up HERE it is template #12 .

Script font and Bold Font of Choice. Now that we have all the supplies, let's begin.

Open up your template #12.

Duplicate this tempate by pressing the Ctrl key +D. Delete the original Template.

Delete Raster 8 layer which is the copyright layer and hide the bottom black background layer. With the background layer hidden you can go to Image>Canvas Size resize it to the layer that you usually make your workspace. when you are finish click OK.

Select the large Circle Raster 2. Selections>Select All> Float>Defloat. Go to your Scrapkit made by Doris and Open up your paper of choice. Copy and Paste this paper layer over top of your selections and then Selections>Invert>Delete. Now to back to the Raster 2 layer and Delete the original Circle. Now go to your Smaller Circles and Add a paper to these circles just as you did to the large ones. Selections>Select All> Float> Defloat or you can Highlight all of your Cirlces by using the Magic Wand tool and Colorizing each Circle to match the colors of your tube. Adjust>Hue/Saturation>Colorize. Fill all of the Circles. I used two papers and alternated the colors. This is totally your choice to do however your may like. Add a small dropshadow to your small circles. Go to your Rectangle layers and Add a paper of choice or colorize these layers as well. Select the dotted line around the cirle and Colorize this too to match a color from your tube. I used a color that wasn't that common in my tag. Add a dropshadow. When you have finished. With the black background layers still hidden Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.

Save your progress.

Open up your Scrapkit elements. Select Two of the Flower Doodles of Choice and Two individual flowers that are opposite of the colors of the doodles. Open your doodle and resize it by 60%. Place the doodle on the bottom right had side of your template. Just right along the edge of the large circle. Open up your Eraser tool and erase the tail end of the Doodle. Add a dropshadow to this layer. Duplicate this doodle. Selections>Duplicate. Now go to Image>Mirror. This should place your doodle right beside the original. Then Image>Flip. Move the Duplicated layer so that it is aligned along the Circle template like before. Open up you Second doodle and follow the same steps. Resize the doodle, Use your eraser tool, Align, Duplicate place them to your liking.

Use my tag above as a reference. Now open up your individual flower, only one, Resize this flower by 20% and add a drop shadow. Copy and paste this tube as a new layer on your workspace and place it in between the connection of your two doodles. Look at my tag above to see how I placed it. Go back to your flower and resize it by 15% and place it a few more times in your tag. Open up the other flower of your choice and resize it by 10% add a dropshadow and place this flower within your workspace. Duplicate this flower and add it as much or as little as you like. Use my tag as a reference if you need an idea.

Open up your tube of choice. Resize this tube so that it doesn't spill over the tag much. Add a small dropshadow like you did on your flowers and place it into the Center of your template. Add your Copyright information and license number to your tag now and then select Layers>Merge>Merge Visible. Save your progress. Open up your Font folder and find a Bold font of your choice. Make the text a color from your tag and add a 2.0 white stroke width. If your tag doesn't have legs like mine. Type out your Word "SPRING" and place it over your flat edge where your tube lacks legs. Right click on your Text Layer in the Palette and Covert to raster layer. Open up a pretty Script font and with the stroke width lowered to 1.0. Write out the word "HAPPY" convert this layer also to a Raster layer and place this to the upper left hand size of your word "SPRING" Do this one more time adding the name of the recipient of this tag.

Add a dropshadow and Save your tag.

BAM!!!! We are now and finally done.

Pink Love

To complete this tut you must have working knowledge of PSP. I am using PSP9 this can easily be done in any version. Any similarities to any other tutorial is purely coincidental. I am using the lovely scrap kit made by Dawn called "My Pink Valentine" you can visit her blog and get the kit HERE. Template is the works of Nicole you can visit her blog HERE

template is attached. The tube I used is the works of Ismael Rac you can purchase this tube from MyPSPTubes. Please do not use the same tube in your tag if you are not licensed to do so. Mask is from Vix HERE mask is attached. Gradient Glow : Plug-in Optional

Grab the Supplies:

Let's begin. Open up a new workspace in your psp. I use 550x550. Go to your tube folder and select a tube that would go great with your kit. You can use my tag as a reference. >>Now open up your Template#33. Duplicate this template by selecting Ctrl+D. Close out the original template. >>Go to your Layers Palette and delete the CR info layer. Go to the large scrap layer and then go to Selections>Select All>Float>Defloat flood fill this layer with a paper from the kit or a color of choice. I picked out a pink color. Selections>Select None. Add a dropshadow to this layer. >>Go to the layer palette and select Small Scrap. Selections>Select all>Float>Defloat. Fill this layer with a paper from the kit. Selections>Invert>Delete. Go to you palette and delete the original layer. >>Go to your Small Frame layer and highlight. Flood fill this layer with the same pattern or color from your large scrap layer. >>Go to your Frame layer and do the same. I choose to use just a plain ole White Frame for this tag. >>Hide the Stars Layer and Layers>Merge>Merge Visible. >> Go to the Kit and open up one of the frames. Resize this frame so that it fits above the Merged layers. Add a drop shadow to this frame and place it to your liking. >>Un-Hide your Star layers and Selections>Select All>Float>Defloat. Flood fill your Stars with a color from your template. If you have the plug in Xenofex2 Add your Gradient Glow>Color White>Fat. Or just a simple Dropshadow will be good. >>Open up your tube and place it to your liking. Add your dropshadow. Use your Eraser tool to erase any excess tube. Giving the tube an appearance that the tube is below the frame. >>Go to your kit and open up the bow resize is necessary. Place the bow below the star layer and above the tube, move the bow in a position that you are happy with then add a dropshadow. You can use the bow to cover the bottom of the tube if it has no legs. Use the Eraser tool one more time to get rid of the extra bow that extends beyond the stars.

Open up a new Raster Layer. Fill this layers with the same color as your stars. Go to your Masks. Layers>Load/Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk. Make sure Invert is Selected. Apply VixMask232. Click Ok. >>Go to your layer palette and Right click on the layer marked Mask. Delete that layer. Go to the layer marked Group and Right Click. Ungroup Layers. Move this layer below your Merged layer, Resize if necessary.

BAM!!! We are DONE!!!!

Add your Copyright Info and License Number.

Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.

Add your Recipients Name!! I save my tags as .pspimages for later distribution.

This tutorial was written by me any resemblance to any other tutorial is a complete coincidence. To complete this tutorial you must have working knowledge of PSP. I am using PSP9 this can easily be done in any version. Scrapkit is the works of Tantrum from former Tantrum Scraps. The template is the works of Nicole you can visit her blog HERE. Tube is the works of ©Artzy Basheff you can purchase this tube from MyPSPTubes. Font I am unsure where I got it so I cannot supply. Mask of Choice.

Get the Supplies

Let's begin:: Open up a new workspace. I use 575x575 for the template is rather wide. Go to your folder and open up the papers you are going to use in your tag. After you have selected your papers go to your tubes and select the tube that looks best with the colors of your papers. This kit is rather bright colors. Minimize your tube for later use.

Open up your Template #24.

Duplicate this template by pressing Ctrl+D. Close the original template. Locate the Copyright layer and Delete. >> Click on a rectangle located above the Circle and Selections>Select All>Float>Defloat. >>Copy and Paste your paper of Choice then go to Selections>Invert>then Delete. You can add a small dropshadow if you want to distingush the rectangles. >>Locate the Original Layer on your Layer Palette, the one without the paper and Delete. Repeat this step two more times until all of the rectangles are colored and the original layers are all deleted. Add small dropshadows as you did to the first rectangle. >>Click on your circle layer. Using your Magic Wand Tool. Select the center of the circle. You should have marching ants around your circle. >>Go to Selections>Modify>Smooth. Press Ok. The default settings will smooth the circle enough for you to get a nice edge. Or you can go Selections>Select All>Float>Defloat like we did for the rectangles. >>Copy and Paste your paper of Choice and then go to Selections>Invert>Delete. Delete the original Circle layer from the layer palette. Right click on the colored circle layer and rename it circle. >>Open up your BFF Scrapkit and select a frame of choice. Open your frame and resize it to your liking. Add a small dropshadow and place this frame right above your renamed Circle layer. Making sure that none of the Cirle layer is hanging out of the frame. If you have any excess cirle use your Eraser tool if it is to get rid of it. >>Click your larger Rectangle layer and select this layer go to Selections>Select All>Float>Defloat. Add your paper of Choice. I selected the newspaper print. This gave me a break in the colors. Selections>Invert>Delete. Add the same small dropshadow if you choose. Delete the original Rectangle layer now. >>Select your 3 squares layer. When you Select all All three highlights. If you want to use different colors here is my trick. >>Go to your three colors you are using for these squares and Resize your papers to 22 percent. This will make them small enough that they won't flow into the next square. >>Go to Selections>Select All>Float>Defloat Go to your first paper and Copy and Paste as a new layer. Place it over the first square now do the same to the second and the third squares using the different colors. If you prefer them to be the same you can add the paper without the resize making sure it's wide enough to cover all three squares. >>Once all three squares are covered to to Selections>Invert. While highlighting the Raster layers that holds the papers. Click on each new layer and hit the delete button. All of the squares should now be filled. Go back and hit Selections>Invert and add your tube to the squares you wish to hold your pic. Now select Selections>Select None. >>Go to your Raster layers that holds your pics and lower the opacity to 70%. Delete the original 3 squares layers. >>We are now finished the hard part. lol. Add your elements of choice. I only added a heart as you can see. >>Once you are finished with the background layer hidden. Layers>Merge>Merge Visible. >>Create a new Raster Layer. Flood Fill with a Color from your tag and apply the mask of your choice. Right click on the layer marked mask and Delete. Right click on the Group layer and Ungroup Layers. Resize if you need to and move this layer below your Merged Layer. >>Go back to your minimized tube and copy and paste it above your template. Position it to your liking. >>Add your copyright information and your license numbers. Don't forget your urls.

Go to your Background layer and right click, Delete your Background layer. Layers> Merge> Merge Visible. Write out your wording. I used a pretty Script font and Wrote out, I am a CoverGirl. Then added the name of the recipient.

Save your tag. I save my tags as .pspimage so I can redistribute later.

BAM!!!! We are done!!!!!

Love Study

Finally I am back with another tutorial. This one is a cutie. To complete this tut you must have come knowledge of Paint Shop Pro. I am using Version 9 but this can easily be done in any versions. I am using a beautiful Scrapkit by Bluey at Bluedreamdesigns the kit is called Sweet Nothings. Thank you Bluey!!! You can pick up her kit HERE. Please leave some love when downloading. I am unsure of who supplies the mask that I have used so I will not be linking the mask. Any mask will clearly work well with this tut. Artwork is that of ©Keith Garvey. You must have a license to use his work. You can purchase his tubes HERE at MYPSPTUBES. Now that we have all of our supplies. Let's begin!!!!

Open up your PSP and create a new workspace. My default is always 550x550 but you may work on a larger space. Flood fill your layer Black. I say this because the frame is white and it will allow you to see what you are doing clearly. Go to your layer palette and rename your black layer so that you can easily go back and hide and unhide throughout the tut. Open your folder containing your scrapkit and select your frame. Resize to your liking. Copy and Paste your frame as a new layer in your workspace. Be sure that your frame is placed above your black background. Now go back to your Scrapkit and open up three papers of your choice. You will need these to fill in your frame. Resize them if you like for we have small squares to work. With your frame layer selected go to your Wand Tool. While pressing Ctrl, Select the square you want to fill with the first paper you chose. Then go to Selections>Modify>Expand>4. Copy and Paste your paper as a new layer. Selections>Invert>Delete>Select None. Move this layer below your frame layer. Now repeat these steps two more times until all of the squares are filled with a paper. Go to your layer palette and hide your frame and black background. Merge Visible your paper layers so that they don't shift while you are working the rest of the tut. Un-hide your layers and let's continue. Open your folder containing your tubes and select the tube you want to use in your tag. I used 3 garv tubes. With your frame layer selected. Open your wand tool, Select your frame, just one frame so that you can change up the tube in each frame. Selections>Invert>Delete>Select None. Lower your opacity down to 86. Just so they doesn't stand out more than the main tube. Do this to the rest of the squares you want to place tubes in. Add small dropshadows if you like and move your frame layer to the top.Now on to the decorating! lol. Go to your Elements and open up the flower, ribbons, buttons etc....you would like to add to the tag. Place them to your liking. You can use my preview as an example. Locate your main tube and place it ontop of your frame layer. Resize so that it fits your tag and add a small dropshadow. Hide your black layer and Merge>Merge Visible. This will complete your tag. Now Create a new layer and with a color from your tube or your tag. Flood fill this layer so that we can apply the mask. Select a mask of choice. Layers>Load/Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk. Select your mask and press OK. Go to the layer palette and Delete the layer named mask. Right click on the Group Layers and Select Ungroup layers. Resize this mask so it fits your tag. Once you are satisfied. Crop and extra space on your tag, leaving room to add your name. Add your © Copyright information and License Number. Layers>Merge>Merge Visible. Add your WordArt, I wrote out "Love Study" matching the tube I picked as my main tube. Save your tag onto your computer. I save mine as a .pspimage for later distribution.

Cute as a Button

To complete this tut you must have working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro. I use version 9 to make this tag. Supplies used in this tut are the wonderful Scrapkit Cherry Love it's a freebie kit made by Seachell. You can pick up this kit and visit her blog HERE. Masks used are those of Simone you can visit her blog HERE. I am using both mask #'s 14 and 15. Tube is the works of ©Pinuptoons. You can purchase this tube HERE at CreativeImageLicensing. Plug in filter used is MuRa Meister. Now once you have gathered your Supplies let's begin.

This is quick simple and painless lol!!

Open a new canvas in your PSP. I use a standard 550x550. I don't need too much workspace while I create. Select your flood fill tool and flood fill your new canvas white. This makes it easier for you to see what you are doing. You may want to rename this layer for we will be hiding and unhiding it during the tutorial. Go to your Scrapkit and select two papers of choice, two buttons of choice and a bow. You may use my tag as a reference if you like.

Select one of your buttons and resize to your liking. Add your dropshadow to it now. Copy and Paste your button into your workspace. Now go to Effects>Plugins>MuRa Meister>Copies

I am using these settings.

Shift Mode: Circle

Tile Mode: Wrap Around

Blend Mode: Behind

You can play with the other setting to add more buttons or less.

Do what looks best for you.

Once you are done press OK.

Resize your next button smaller pixels than before and then apply your plugin at the same settings press OK. Your smaller button should place itself directly on top of your larger button.

Hide your white background.

Merge these two layers. This is your frame. Select your wand tool and select the center of your now newly made button frame. Selections>Modify>Expand increase your numbers so that your selection completely covers the center of your frame. Select your paper of chose and copy and paste as a new layers. With the paper layer still highlighted. Selections>Invert>Delete.

Place your selection below your frame layer.

You can follow these same steps and add a headshot of one of your favorite tubes in the center of the frame instead of the paper. It's completely up to you.

Copy and Paste your paper one last time and then apply Mask #15.

Layers>Load/Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk>Load

Go to your layers and right click and delete your mask layer.

Go to your group layer, right click and ungroup layers.

Place this layer directly below all of your other layers except the white background.

Now Select your second paper of choice and paste it as a new layer.

Layers>Load/Save Mask>Load Mask from Disk>Load

This time we are applying Mask #14

Follow the same steps that you did previously.

placing this layer above the white backgound and below mask#15.

With your Background still hidden Layers>Merge> Merge Visible.

Open your tube of choice and place it to your liking.

Add a small dropshadow. Making sure your tube is within the mask layers.

Copy and Paste your bow so that it can be seen around your tube.

I have added the words Cute as a Button.

This is your option. My tag is only a reference.

Add your copyright information, license number and urls.

I add a white gradient glow or dropshadow so mine can be seen on colored pages.

Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Use your Crop Tool to get rid of any excess white on your page.

Add your name to your tag and save it.

BAM!!!! We are now done.

That was quick and painless as I said.

I Love you - PTU

Supplies used in this tut. The lovely scrapping works of LoyalKD Designs. New PTU kit names Cupid Caught you can purchase it HERE or HERE. Mask used is one by Simone, you can visit and pick up this mask HERE. Please leave some love when downloading. Tubes used are the works of Keith Garvey, you can purchase them from MyPSPTubes HERE, do not use these tubes on your tags if you have not obtained a license to do so. Font of Choice.

Let's begin.

Let's start by opening up your blank canvas. I use a standard 550x550. Flood fill your Raster layer white so it's easy for you to work with. Now locate and open up your Cupid Caught kit. Select your frame of choice. If you have chosen the one I am using copy and paste it as a new layer on your workspace and then Image>Flip. This will put the bow on the top right hand side. Select your Magic Wand tool and select the center of your frame.

Selections>Modify>Expand

You can expand as much as your feel comfortable with. I used width 8. Now go back to your scrapkit and open up your paper of choice. Resize so that it's easier to work with. Now Copy & Paste as a new layer. Place it over your frame selection.

Minimize your paper for we will use it again to apply the mask.

Selections>Invert>Delete. To kill two birds with one stone. Then Selections>Invert

Go to your tubes and Select your tube to place in the center of the frame.

Closeups works well but the tube I used was large enough to fit also.

Copy and paste your tube into the selection. Now Selections>Invert>Delete. Now select Selections>Select none. Place your tube layer below your frame layer now and above the paper layer. If you want your tube greyscaled as mine go to Adjust>Hue/Saturation>Colorize 0,0.

Remember you are only using my tag as a reference.

Add a small drop shadow to both your tube and your frame. Hide your background layer and Layers>Merge>Visible. If visible doesn't highlight, click on a layer that it's X'd out and follow those steps again. Now go back to your Scrapkit for one more time.

Open up your elements that you are going to use to decorate your frame. I used two different color flowers, a bow, and the I love you wordart. You may choose different.

Un hide your background so that you can see the dropshadows you may add on your elements.

Go to your flowers and resize them to your liking. Copy and Paste your flower to the bottom of your frame. Layer>Duplicate>Mirror your flower. Do this a few more times. You can even resize your flower to make it a bit smaller. Paste your bows and other elements of choice.

Select your Wordart and place it at the top of your frame. Using your eraser tool to get rid of any extra wording that may spill outside of your tag range.

Once you are happy with your frame Select your additional tube(s) and place on your tag above your elements. Add a small dropshadow to your tube(s). Once again hide your background layer and Merge>Visible. Restore your paper from earlier and copy and paste it as a new layer.

Layers>Load/Save Mask> Load mask from disk>Load. Then Select OK

Go to your Palette and delete the original Mask Layer. Select OK

Right click on the Group Layers and Select Ungroup Layers.

Move this masked layer below your finished tag. Adjust it so that it's to your liking,

Select Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.

Go to your crop tools and Crop away any excess background leaving enough space for your copyrights and name. Add your urls and copyright information.

Don't forget your license number.

Save your finished product. I save mine as .pspimage for later distribution.

BAM!!! We are done. See Easy as 1, 2, 3.

Very quick tut.

Supplies:

Lovely Amore Amore kit by Lacarolita Designz. This is a beautiful freebie you can download that kit HERE don't forget to leave her some love or a comment if you download. We have to show our love and support to the artists. I used a tube made by Keith Garvey you can purchase this tube and others at MyPSPTubes.com HERE. Template #134 is by Missy at DivineIntentionz HERE. Finally mask is by Zuzzanna, you can pick this up by going HERE. It is the 15th mask down. Right click and save to your mask folder.

Plugins: Gradient Glow and Alien Skin Xenofex2 is optional.

Okay Let's Begin.

Open your PSP. duh right!! lol. Locate your Template #134 by Missy.

Select+D to duplicate then delete the original. Click on the copyright layer and delete. Then locate the background layer and hide. Go to Image>Canvas Size>550x550. Select OK.

Now unhide your background layer and flood fill the transparent section of that layer white to fit the entire workspace. Open up two papers from your Scrapkit. Copy and Paste one of your papers and go to the workspace. Select the Heart. Selection>Select All>Float>Defloat copy and paste your paper now hit Selection>Invert>Delete. You can add a *FAT* Gradient Glow to this layers now if you want. Do that by going to Effects>Plugins>Eye Candy 4000>Gradient Glow

I use Basic Glow width 3.00

Color Tab> Fat>Color White

You can use these option throughout the entire tut.

Now Select OK

Go on to your large LOVE letters.

Selection>Select All> Float>Defloat. copy and paste your second paper of choice.

Selection>Invert> then Delete.

Now Apply the same Gradient Glow to your LOVE.

remember this is optional

Delete original heart layer and love layers. Now Select Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

Keep your papers open for we will go back to one of them in a moment.

Go to your scrapkit and open your bow. Copy and Paste it as a New Layer.

Image>Rotate>Free Rotate>Left>90%

Resize if the bow is too large and place it over the straight edge of the "E" in Love.

Add a small dropshadow. Now open up the beads and resize so it fits the heart.

use your eraser tool to get rid of any excess beads. Place to your liking and add a small dropshadow. Open up two flowers and resize them so they are no longer too big.

Place one of the flowers in the center of your bow and ribbon. And another one to the left side of your letter "L". Add the same dropshadow to both flowers.

Hide your background layer and select Layers>Merge>Merge Visible

You should now only have two layers available to choose from.

Un hide your background layer and flood fill your white background with a paper from the scrapkit. To do this you must select the paper in the flood fill square.

Select Layer/Load/Save Mask /Load Mask from Disk

Locate your Zuzzanna Mask #18 make sure invert transparency is checked.

Select OK. Lower the opacity to this layer to 60%

To make your mask look as mine you need Alien Skin Xenofex2.

If you wish to continue, with your mask layer active choose Alien Skin Xenofex2

Select Constellation. Star size is 2.00 Everything else can stay the same or you can increase or decrease to make it to your liking. It is up to you. I left everything else where it was.

Just be sure to check Make Selection Transparent.

This will give you a glittery mask.

Now merge this layer with the rest of your tube.

Add your tube of choice. I used a tube my Garv.

Add a drop shadow and then go to your crop tool and crop the excess white from your tag.

Add your copyrights, urls and license #

Don't forget your special signature.

And BAM!!! We are done.

Told you it was Easy!!!

Now Save your tag. I save mine as .pspimage's for distribution later.

Add your name to your tag and you are done.

My Heart - PTU
Ready for an Easy Tut.
Let's begin. You follow this tut you should at working knowledge of PSP. I am using PSP9.

Supplies used in this tut is the lovely PTU scrapkit named My Heart by Loyal KD. You can purchase this kit HERE for a very reasonable price or use any kit of choice. I am also using some circle templates HERE that I gathered from a yahoo group. I am unsure of who they belong to. If they are yours please email me so I can give you credit or take them down. No Mask used in my tut but you may add one later if you choose. The tube that I am using is one of Jennifer Janesko. You can purchase her works HERE at Creative Image Licensing. Do not use the same tube in your tag if you are not licensed to do so.

Okay Let's begin.
Open you Workspace to the size of your liking. I use 550x550. This size works best in forums.

Flood fill your background White. This is so you can see what you are working with.

You can rename this layer background. It will make it easy for you to hide and unhide it during the tutorial. Now locate your circle templates. Select the template and Copy and Paste into your workspace. Now to add the paper. Selection>Select All>Float>Defloat. Select your paper of choice and copy and paste it over the frame selection. Selection>Invert>Delete.

Delete your original frame template. Add a small drop shadow if you wish.

Now open the circle located in the templates and do the same as you did with the frame.

Add a paper of your choice and delete the orginal.

Now onto the fun part. lol!

Open your envelope and folded card embellishment. Resize this so that it fits perfectly into the center of your frame template. Add a drop shadow so it stands out a bit.

My dropshadow is

Effects>3D Effects>Dropshadow

Vertical -1

Horizontal - 1

Opacity 80%

Blur - 6

Color -Black

then click ok.

You can change your settings to your liking.

Open up the bow. Place it to the top of your card and resize until it is where you want it.

Now locate the doodle. I selected the lighter one of the two.

I added noise to it to give it a glittery look.

to do this you go to Adjust>Add/Remove Noise>Add Noise

Select Gaussian

Noise -100%

Monochrome is Checked

then select ok

Now go to Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen

*Sharpen enhances the glitter effect a bit more.

Okay we are almost done.

Now depending on if your using a tube that lays down like I did or one that stands up. This will determine where you will place the roses. Open the roses and place them to your liking.

I resized this roses so that one is smaller than the other. Add the same dropshadow used earlier to both roses. Once you are satisfied with your roses add your tube.

Position your tube so that it fits on the tag.

Now open your two heart embellishments from the kit.

Resize and add dropshadows to both.

I placed mine so that it covers the legs of my tube but you may like your tube to stand on them.

That is your decision my tag is only a reference.

Now we are almost done!!!

Hide your Background Layer and Merge all Visible.

If this option isn't highlighted you need to click on an active layer then try again.

Layers> Merge> Merge Visible

Add your copyrights to this tag. Don't forget your License # and urls.

Your text is optional.

I used a block font and then added a cursive font overtop of it in white.

I had fun with this one. This one is easy.

Let's begin. You follow this tut you should at working knowledge of PSP. I am using PSP9. Supplies used in this tut is the lovely PTU scrapkit named SUE by Loyal KD. You can purchase this kit HERE for a very reasonable price or use any kit of choice. I am also using some circle templates HERE that I gathered from a yahoo group. I am unsure of who they belong to. If they are yours please email me so I can give you credit or take them down. Mask WSLMask 91. You can get that from Weescotslass Tutorials HERE. Click navigate then go to the downloads.

Please leave some love when downloading the supplies!!

The tube I used is from the wonderful works of Keith Garvey. You can purchase this tube and other works HERE at MyPspTubes. Do not use this tube if you are not licensed to do so.

Okay Let's begin.

Open up your circle templates. Select the frame that you are going to use Copy and Paste as a New Image. Now Select the circle that is included with the templates. Copy and Paste as a New Layer. Hide your circle as we add the paper to the template. Open up your Scrapkit. Select paper of choice or your can use my tut as a guide. Selection>Select All>Float>Defloat. Copy and Paste the paper you selected. Selection>Invert then Delete. Merge Layers. If you have added a background layer. Make sure it isn't visible when merging. Now Un hide your Circle. This should line up in the center of your template. Selection>Select All>Fload>Defloat. Copy and Paste a second paper of choice and paste as a New Layer. Selection>Invert>Delete. Now hide your Circle. Layer>Merge>Visible. Again making sure your background layer is hidden.

Unhide your Circle for the last time. Image>Resize>80% Make sure Resize all layers is unchecked. Select OK. Using your wand tool. Select your circle and copy and paste another paper of your choice into your selection. Selection>Invert>Delete.

Merge all layers visible. We merged so many times so our circles stayed aligned.

Now that we have our template done. Let's decorate.

Open up your embellishments in your scrapkit.

I selected the boxes. Open up your boxes and resize to your liking.

You may want them large so the tube can sit ontop of them, or smaller so they can hang in the background like on my tut. It's all to your liking.

Paste your box in the center of the bottom of your tag, Copy and Paste the second box and place it just slightly hanging off the left edge of the box in the center.

Once your are satisfied with the placing of the boxes. Open up two flowers. Yours will vary from mine if you are using a different tube. Resize the flowers to your liking. I made mine small, medium, and one large. Just to add a different look to the tag.

Do whatever you like or you can use my tag as a reference. Add a light dropshadow to them also, this will define them over top of the boxes and the template.

Open up a bow, a button, and the WordArt. Add these where you like. If you used a different tube these may look better in a different place. And then add your tube of choice.

BAM!! We are just about done. Add a drop shadow to your tube, your bow, and your button. Layers>Merge>Visible be sure that the background layer is still hidden.

Copy and paste a paper that will pull your tag together. Paste it as a New Layer. Apply your Mask. Layers>Load/Save Mask from Disk. Find WSL Mask91 or mask of choice. And apply.

Merge all Layers Visible. Add your copyrights and urls. And you are done!!!

Wow. I know that it's winter but it got cold fast. lol!
I can't believe that they are actually talking about 3 inchs of snow for tomorrow at dawn.
I am not complaining but I can definetly do without.

I made this tut for a wonderful gal named Lynne. Thanks for adding me to your CT hun. I am using the beautiful work of Jasmine Beckett-Griffith you can purchase her work HERE from Creative Image Licensing. Please do not use this tube if you are not licensed to do so.
I am using the beautiful FTU Scrapkit December Gift by Baby Cakes Scraps here. I have included this Kit in the supplies. I also included the frames that I used. I have gained in a yahoo group. If this is yours please email me so I can give you credit or take them down. Mask and Font of your Choice.

Okay Lets Start Taggin' - This is an EASY one!

Open your PSP, I am set to 500x500 pixels make sure your transparent is checked. Click OK.

Go to your Background Color Tool and make it white. Flood Fill your Raster Layer. This will work as your background layer. Open up your Frames. Select your frame of choice Copy and Paste this frame as a new layer. Selection>Select All>Float>Defloat Open up your Scrapkit and select the dk brown paper. Copy. Go back to your Selection and Paste as a new layer. Position it to your liking and Selection>Invert>Delete. Go to your layer palette and delete the original frame. Go back to your frames and Copy and Paste the Circle. When you paste it as a new layer it should automatically post in the center of your frame. Click your Magic Wand tool and Select your circle. Flood Fill this circle with the color of your choice. Selection>Select None.

We are now done with the frame. You can Merge your layers Visible.

We will now go back to the ScrapKit. Select a Flower. I used the brown flower for it matches the tube the best. Copy and Paste the flower as a new layer. Post this in the center of your frame. Over the colored area. Lower the opacity to about 65 percent. This will give you a fade of the flower. Now head back to your original flower and Resize it about 35 percent. Add a drop shadow of your choice. Paste this flower around your frame as many times as you feel comfortable. I did so 3 times. Go back to your ScrapKit and copy and paste the ribbon. Again I used brown for it matched. Resize the bow about 30 percent, it is pretty large depending on what size of tag or bow your want in the end. Paste the bow on the frame to your liking using your eraser tool to get rid of any access bow. Move this ribbon layer under your flowers. To spice it up a bit more, I opened the green bow metallic bow and resized it the same size as the flower and added it to give the brown a bit of color. This is optional. I moved it on both sides of my flowers just to replace where the leaves would have been had this flower had leaves.

Once you are happy with the was this looks go to your doodles inside the kit. Copy and Paste them underneath both the flower and the ribbon layers. Use your eraser tool to erase any extra parts of the doodles that you don't want to show. We are just about finished.

Once you have added the doodles the only thing left is to add the tube and then the copyrights.

Go to your frame and click on it. Go to the layer palette and highlight both the background layer and the frame layer. Click on any layer that isn't highlighted and Layers>Merge Visible.

Unhide your layers. Open your tube of choice and Copy and Paste it into your tag. You can place it between your embellishments on ontop that is your option. I placed it beneath the embellishments, above the frame. Again use your eraser tool to erase what you don't want, or if necessary use your resize to make the tube fit your tag.

Hide your background layer and Layers>Merge>Merge Visible.

We are now finished!!!

I usually save my tags as a .pspimage so that I can distribute later.

But make sure you save your tag on your computer.

Add your name or recipients name and BAM!!! your done!!!!

Well, that drastic year is now over!!!

Yay!!! So Long 2008 and all the shortcomings and the drama. I am so happy to have that year behind me. It's time to go on and look ahead. I will be back with a new tut and probably a new template. I have been a busy little bee. lol!

What a short week at work this week. I am so tired and it's just Monday. I am so loving my new custom layout!!!! Thank you so much LISA!!! You have really stuck your foot in this one. In Living Colour

I am using the beautiful work of Rion Vernon aka ©PinupToons you can find his work here at Creative Image Licensing. You must not use the same tube in your tag unless you have obtained a license from the website.

The Scrapkit I am using is by ChrisScrap you can find it here the kit name is SoCute. Scroll down a bit and you will find it. It was a FTU kit when the tut was created. This tag can easily be done using a different scrapkit and or tube.
Font used is BoyzRGross. Google to find font it is a Free Font.

Okay Lets Start Taggin'

Open your PSP. New Image. I use 550x550 as my standard, make sure the transparent is checked. Click OK.
First create a Raster Layer and Flood Fill White. This will be your Background. Next,
open your Scrapkit. Locate Cadre_2. Resize to your liking. All embellishments are fairly larger you may have to resize by 50 percent on some then resize again to your liking. Use your magic wand tool and select inside of your frame. Selection>Modify>Expand 5.
Select a paper of your choice. Copy the paper and place it to your liking over the selection of the frame. Selection>Invert>Delete. Place your paper layer below your frame layer.
Now let's decorate this tag.
Select a cloud of choice. I used the one with the blue dots but depending on which tube you may use select the one that fits your tag. Again this is fairly large so resize by 40%. Image>Resize>40 percent. Make sure All layers is checked before selecting OK. Then resize your cloud again to fit your tag. Mine was 60%. Place your embellishment on your tag. Now open up the Rainbow, Mushrooms, and Flowers. And resize and place them to your liking as well.
Open your tube of choice and resize so that it fits into your tag.
Add your dropshadow of choice to the tube

When you are finished placing your tube hide your all white background layer.
Go to Layers>Merge>Visible
Now to add the glitter boarder around your tag like mine.
Duplicate your Merged layer. Move your copy layer below your Merged layer and hide your merged layer. With the Copied layer selected go to Adjust>Add/Remove Noise>Add Noise your setting should be Gaussian>100%>Monochrome>Select OK
Do this one more time to give your selection more glittery effect.
Next go to settings Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen
You can add more noise if you like more then go back to your layers.
Un-hide your Merged layer.
Image>Resize>90% this will give the appearance of a glittered border.
Go to Layers>Merge>Visible

Open your Font Tool and Add your text or your name to the bottom of your tag.
I wrote out : "In Living Colour" and "Kay"
I made my text multicolored by highligting the letters and changing the foreground colors using colors from the tag to add more of a effect to the text.
Add your ©'s Copyrights> License Numbers>Watermarks and all now.
Save your tag.

I save mine as .pspimage for later distribution.

McDonalds

Here is my little man. I took him to McDonalds and he had his first Happy Meal at 17 months. I decided to buy him one as we went and did some shopping. Of course I got the chicken nuggets.

Merry Christmas everyone!
I am so glad that this day is finally over.
I felt like a scrooge because I really wasn't able to buy stuff for everyone. Well, there is always next year. I will just have to start earlier. But I made it through. I hope everyone has enjoyed their Christmas Day and that Santa bought you everything you wanted. tee hee!!

I am off to post a few pictures of my son. He's been very good this holiday. We visited a few of his family members on his dad side and I am glad that he didn't pull down a christmas tree. He did dig in some cat food. lol! But none was eaten. Hope all have a great night!!! XOXO Kay

To complete this tutorial you must have working knowledge of PSP.
Okay let's begin!
Open Template #13
Press Shift+D to duplicate then close the original
Open your Scrapkit and choose the papers of choice. I used 3 of them in the tut.
Locate the Circle Layer
Selections>Select All>Float>Defloat
Copy and paste paper of choice
Selections>Invert>Delete
Selection>None
Now Delete original Circle layer
Now select the rectangle layer
Selection>Select All>Float>Defloat
Copy paper of choice and paste it as a new layer

*Note: I have made a frame around my rectangle you may not want a frame if you choose not to have a frame bypass the add a frame instructions
To add a frame:
Move the rectangle layer above the raster layer which may be Raster3
The rectangle layer now becomes active
Selections>Modify>Contract
Number of Pixels I used are
10
You may use a higher number to make your frame thicker.
Click Ok
then delete on the keyboard.
Go to your magic wand tool and select your newly created frame
with the frame now selected paste a new paper layer of choice
Selection>Invert>Delete
Selection>None
Add a drop shadow of choice
Now to finish this tag off.
Add papers of choice to both frames inner and frame layers as we just did for the rectangle.
Add a drop shadow to your frame.
Color your staples and flower layers.
You can Adjust>Hue Saturation>Colorize or opt to add a paper from your scrapkit.
I deleted both the flowers and the staples to add my own embellishments.
Select a tube of choice.
One that fits the scrapkits colors or one you like the best.
We are almost done!!!!!

Add your embellishments to the tag. You can use my tag as a guide or just do your own thing.
Layers>Merge>Merge Visible
Resize your tag if you plan on doing so.
I resized mine by 90%
Image>Resize>90 percent
Add proper copyrights and license numbers.
Now onto the Word Art
Click on your background fill and foreground fills and add two different papers of choice.
With a bold font type out the letter "I", resize it to fit in the first heart frame.
Add a dropshadow
Do this one more time for the letter "U", and place it in the last heart frame and add a dropshadow.
Now, with a script font, type out the word "heart" resize to your liking.
Add a dropshadow and place it in the middle heart frame.
Congratulations we are done!!!!
Save your tag.
I usually save mine as a .pspimage to create pressies at a later date.
Add names to your tags and distribute.

Okay, this is just day two and I seem to have no energy to write anymore tuts. I never knew all of the work that was put into it. Especially when you are like me and you delete a whole lot. lol! Happy Being Me..........Yay!!! My first tut.

I am using the beautiful artwork of Suzanne Woolcott.

Do not use the same tube unless you are licensed to do so, you can purchase this tube or find more of her amazing work here.

To complete this tut you must have working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

I am currently using version 9.

So let's get ready.

Supplies needed.

You may use any Tube and or ScrapKit of choice or the ones that I used.

Template is by Denny @ Denz Designz blog it is Template #58

Plugin: *Gradient Glow (Optional)

Okay let's create!

Open up your template in your PSP.

Press Ctrl +D to duplicate the template and then close the original. X out the background layer and go to Image>Canvas Size. Use a size that is easier for you to work on. I use 600x600.

Now locate your Scrapkit. Select the papers you will be using in your tag.

I used four different papers in total. Resize your papers so that they aren't too long.

Click on the bottom layer. (dark grey back) Go to Selections>Float>Defloat.

Copy your first paper and then Paste over the Selection.

Selection>Invert>Delete

This will remove the paper the extends outside of your selection

*Optional: I then used the Gradient Glow Plugin to give me a border around my shapes.

You can just add a simple drop shadow of choice.

Repeat this step on the next layer and also on the circle layers.

Open the frame embellishment.

Resize to the size of your liking and then rotate to the left.

Image>Rotate>Free Rotate> 10 degrees.

You may opt to rotate more or less to your liking.

Place this frame below your white square layer.

Select your white square.

Selection>Select all>float>defloat

Now copy and paste your paper of choice.

Select your heart layer and strip layer and do the same.

I left the white pin heads white and just added a gradient glow to it.

You may color yours if you wish.

Open the flowers and the heart or any embellishments that choose

And place them on the tag to decorate it a bit more.

You may place them just as mines or when you feel they will look best.

Mine is just an example.

Locate your tube of choice and resize it to fit in your tag.

I placed mine above the heart but below the strip and white pin heads.

You may do the same or just place it above all of the layers.

With the background layers still X'd out.

Layers>Merge>Visible Layers

Create a new layer and add a flood fill of choice or paste another paper as a new layer

Load your Mask

Now Layers>Merge>Visible

Transparent backgrounds are great for most forums it will eliminate the white background.

If you want your tag transparent delete the background layer.

Resize to your liking. I resize mine by 90%.

Now add proper copyright information and license # to your tag.

Don't forget your urls!!

I always save mine as a .pspimage or .psd to recreate more at a later day.

Add the recipient or your name in the font of choice and words if your like. I added the header " Happy being Me" and then save on your PC.
